Site Sandpiper Recon A Mosaic

This mosaic image of candidate sample site Sandpiper is composed of 37 images that were collected on Oct. 5, 2019, by the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft. The images were taken by the PolyCam camera during the Reconnaissance A phase site flyover from a distance of about 0.6 miles (1 km). For scale, the large, light-colored boulder in the center-left of the image is 16 ft (5 m) wide, which is about the size of a box truck.
