REXIS in the Clean Room

This image shows REXIS (Regolith X-Ray Imaging Spectrometer) mounted on the instrument deck of the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft in the clean room. In the background, the spacecraft’s Sample Return Capsule (SRC), which will carry the sample of asteroid Bennu back to Earth, is also visible.

The image has been rotated 90 degrees so that REXIS and the SRC are pointing upward from the instrument deck.
