Site Osprey Recon A Mosaic
This mosaic image of candidate sample site Osprey is composed of 47 images that were collected on Oct. 12, 2019, by the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft. The images were taken by the PolyCam camera during the Reconnaissance A phase site flyover from a distance of about 0.6 miles (1 km). For scale, the light-colored rock that looks like a spear tip and is located in the crater is 17 ft (5.2 m) long, which is about the same length as a box truck.
