
Site Nightingale Recon A Mosaic
This mosaic image of candidate sample site Nightingale is composed of 55 images that were collected on Oct. 26, 2019, by the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft. The images were taken by the PolyCam camera during the Reconnaissance A phase site flyover from a distance of about 0.6 miles (1 km). For scale, the large boulder in the center of the image is around 46 feet (14 m) wide, which is about the length of a semi truck.
