OSIRIS-REx EGA Image Taken by Deimos Sky Survey

The OSIRIS-REx spacecraft (marked with an orange arrow) was imaged with a 0.4-meter telescope on September 21, 2017 (starting at 0:50 UTC) from a location near Niefla Mountain and Puertollano in Ciudad Real, Spain. These images were captured the day before the spacecraft’s Earth Gravity Assist when it was approximately 920,000 km away from Earth.
