OSIRIS-REx EGA Image Taken by CCAF

The CCAF Astronomical Observatory, located near Farra d’Isonzo, Italy, captured these images of OSIRIS-REx (indicated by the green arrow) on Sept. 21, 2017 beginning at 21:14 UTC. The next day, the spacecraft made its closest approach to Earth (over Antarctica) during its Earth Gravity Assist maneuver.
