Orbital B: Close Encounters with Bennu

During Orbital B, OSIRIS-REx is orbiting Bennu at a range of about half a mile (930 m) from the asteroid’s center — setting new records for the smallest planetary body ever orbited by a spacecraft and the closest orbit of an object by a spacecraft.
