Relative Altitudes: OSIRIS-REx in Orbital A

During Orbital A, OSIRIS-REx is flying closer to Bennu’s surface than the cruising altitude of many aircraft. The spacecraft’s altitude is also lower than the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro and even the altitude at which some birds fly over Earth’s surface.
